HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HSE professionals, including HSE Engineers and officers
• Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs in compliance with ADNOC regulations
• Develop HSE plans and emergency response procedures/plans
• Conduct incident analysis using root cause analysis techniques
• Manage Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) including PTW, WMS, and Risk Assessments
• Oversee audit processes and ensure understanding of HSE Management Systems and legislative requirements
• Maintain awareness of H2S hazards and implement necessary control measures

Requirements

• ADNOC approval is required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or HSE discipline
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification (subject to ADNOC approval)
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001
• Minimum 15 years of experience in HSE
• At least 3 years in a Lead HSE role within the Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or construction industries
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Strong knowledge of incident investigation techniques
