HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs for a major Oil & Gas EPC project.
• Ensure full compliance with ADNOC regulations and standards.
• Lead a team of HSE professionals, including HSE Engineers and Officers.
• Develop HSE plans and emergency response procedures/plans.
• Conduct incident analysis using root cause analysis techniques.
• Manage Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) including PTW, WMS, and Risk Assessments.
• Oversee audit processes and maintain the HSE Management System.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or an HSE discipline.
• ADNOC approval is mandatory.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification.
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001 or ISO 14001.
• Minimum 15 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in a Lead HSE role within the Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or heavy construction industries.
• Strong knowledge of H2S hazards and control measures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in GCC countries on oil and gas projects.
• Experience working with an EPC contractor or heavy industrial construction company in the oil and gas sector.
