HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HSE professionals, including HSE Engineers and Officers.
• Implement and support health, safety, and environmental programs in compliance with ADNOC regulations.
• Develop HSE plans and emergency response procedures/plans.
• Manage Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) including PTW, WMS, and Risk Assessments.
• Conduct incident analysis using root cause analysis techniques.
• Oversee audit processes and ensure understanding of HSE Management Systems and legislative requirements.
• Maintain awareness of H2S hazards and implement necessary control measures.

Requirements

• Mandatory ADNOC approval.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or an HSE discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent certification approved by ADNOC Group.
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or related industries.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Lead HSE role.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) with strong communication skills.
