About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of HSE professionals, including HSE Engineers and Officers.
- Implement and support health, safety, and environmental programs in compliance with ADNOC regulations.
- Develop HSE plans and emergency response procedures/plans.
- Manage Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) including PTW, WMS, and Risk Assessments.
- Conduct incident analysis using root cause analysis techniques.
- Oversee audit processes and ensure understanding of HSE Management Systems and legislative requirements.
- Maintain awareness of H2S hazards and implement necessary control measures.
Requirements
- Mandatory ADNOC approval.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or an HSE discipline.
- NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent certification approved by ADNOC Group.
- Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or related industries.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Lead HSE role.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) with strong communication skills.
