About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production floor activity to ensure all personnel operate within prescribed safety guidelines and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct accident investigations and gather necessary information for ICare and WSNB reporting.
  • Perform safety audits, walkthroughs, and orientations for new hires to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation, training matrices, and records for all shift personnel.
  • Partner with site leadership and Regional HSE Specialists to identify, mitigate, and implement corrective actions for plant risks.
  • Support the execution of training and development programs to ensure team members meet corporate HSE standards.
  • Participate in the safety committee to review concerns and develop mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a safety role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Proven experience monitoring HSE performance and implementing safety programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
