HSE Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Monitor production floor activity to ensure all personnel operate within prescribed safety guidelines and environmental standards
• Conduct accident investigations and gather necessary information for ICare and CNESST reporting
• Implement and execute GAP safety program strategies and initiatives
• Facilitate safety training and development for team members to ensure compliance with corporate HSE standards
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and records for all shift personnel
• Partner with site leadership to identify, mitigate, and manage plant risks
• Perform safety orientations and facility walkthroughs for all new hires
• Participate in the safety committee to review concerns and develop mitigation plans

Requirements

• Prior experience in a safety role within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience monitoring HSE performance and programs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
• Fluency in French and proficiency in English
