HSE Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Monitor production floor activity to ensure all personnel operate within prescribed safety guidelines
• Execute health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives and GAP safety program strategies
• Conduct safety audits, investigations into hazards or near misses, and identify opportunities for culture improvement
• Lead the safety committee and review pending environmental concerns or risks to develop mitigation plans
• Facilitate safety training, orientations, and walkthroughs for new hires to ensure compliance with standards
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and records for all plant personnel
• Partner with site leadership and Regional HSE Specialists to identify, mitigate, and address plant risks

Requirements

• Prior experience in a safety role within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience monitoring HSE performance and programs
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally and deliver strong employee relations
• Strong customer focus orientation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work the afternoon shift (3pm-11pm, Monday - Friday)
