HSE Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Support and guide incident investigations with a root cause and prevention focus to reduce future risk
• Manage safety systems and documentation to ensure compliance and audit-readiness at the site level
• Lead and deliver wellbeing initiatives, WHS committee support, and training plans aligned to site priorities
• Coordinate injury management and Workers Compensation processes, including return-to-work planning
• Use safety performance data and trend analysis to advise leaders on proactive risk controls
• Build partnerships across teams to drive continuous improvement and a positive safety culture

Requirements

• Qualifications in Safety, Engineering, or a related field (e.g., Diploma, Graduate Certificate, or Degree)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a safety leadership role, ideally within manufacturing or heavy industry
• Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and compliance
• Proven experience in incident investigation and injury management, including return-to-work coordination
• Ability to implement safety and wellbeing programs at a site level
• Valid Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available)
