HSE Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Assist the HSE Manager in conducting safety inspections, environmental audits, and risk assessments
• Participate in investigations regarding minor incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and corrective actions
• Support the deployment and monitoring of HSE programs, including waste management and chemical handling
• Maintain HSE equipment and emergency preparedness materials, such as first aid kits and spill kits
• Contribute to the preparation and distribution of HSE communications, including safety alerts and toolbox talks
• Update and track HSE documentation, including regulatory registers, procedures, and training files
• Collect and analyze HSE performance data to support reporting and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or DUT program specializing in HSE, industrial risk management, or a related technical field
• Basic knowledge of HSE principles and risk assessment methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in administrative tasks
• Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn in an industrial environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, from field teams to management
