HSE Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice, guidance, and support on Project HSSE matters
• Roll out Company HSSE objectives, campaigns, and initiatives
• Lead high potential (Level 1) incident investigations and support Level 2 investigations
• Undertake visits to Project facilities and worksites to provide constructive reviews
• Develop and ensure the implementation of HSSE Management Plans
• Provide regular performance reports to Project Management and HSSE Managers
• Undertake leading and lagging indicator analysis and provide business-wide alerts
• Act as an HSSE focal point for clients and support bids, proposals, and external audits

Requirements

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• CSCS certification
• Internal Auditor qualification
• Experience as an HSE Advisor in transmission and distribution, oil and gas, or related industries
• Excellent working knowledge of UK legislation
• Ability to develop management systems and investigation reports
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Competent in MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Overhead Lines, Underground Cabling, and Civils environments
