HSE Advisor

Responsibilities

• Support multiple project teams to implement and maintain effective HSE plans aligned to Built’s HSE Management System
• Actively influence site safety culture by coaching, advising, and driving positive HSE behaviours
• Monitor and analyse safety performance, milestones, and KPIs to ensure risks are identified and controlled effectively
• Support incident reporting and investigations, helping teams understand root causes and implement corrective actions
• Contribute to audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to lift HSE standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience within construction or a related industry
• Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety (or equivalent)
• Sound understanding of HSE legislation, compliance obligations, and construction project environments
• Experience with incident reporting and investigation methodologies (e.g., ICAM or similar)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with site and leadership teams
