About the role

Responsibilities

  • Advise and train laboratory/plant leaders on occupational safety and environmental policies and standards
  • Manage compliance with procedures, plans, and programs aligned with company safety, health, and environmental policies
  • Conduct periodic/unannounced inspections of critical operational processes, communicate findings, and generate action plans
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the safety, health, and environmental management system
  • Participate in the planning and execution of internal and external audits, including finding and action management
  • Lead and/or participate in incident investigations according to internal policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
  • Knowledge of MATPEL (Hazardous Materials)
  • 2 years of experience in H&S management in laboratories, chemical plants, or industrial settings
