HRIS Project Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage HRIS maintenance and improvement projects, including installation, administration, customization, and upgrades.
• Proactively identify and implement HRIS/HRMS improvements to meet organizational needs.
• Partner with HR, IT, and Data Privacy offices to develop integrated workflows and automation features.
• Ensure system compliance with federal and state regulations, data security, and privacy requirements.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for HRIS suppliers and vendors.
• Act as a member of implementation teams for Workday modules (Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time, Payroll) and ServiceNow across North America.
• Translate business needs into actionable projects, including prioritization, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to employees and HR Business Partners.
• Manage system permissions, access, and personalization for users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources Management, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting HRIS and implementations in HCM and Payroll systems.
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service, administrative, or human resources support role.
• Must qualify as a "U.S. Person" under ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or granted Asylum/Refugee status).
• Strong functional and technical HR knowledge, particularly with Organizational Administration tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with Workday HCM Suite and/or Dayforce.
• Experience with Dayforce and Business Solver.
• Familiarity with writing scripts, Visual Basic, or basic coding (HTML).
