About the role
Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and optimize the UKG Pro HCM system across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, and Onboarding modules
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for system configuration, troubleshooting, and user inquiries
- Maintain foundational system setup including business rules, workflows, security roles, and data tables
- Create, update, and optimize UKG Pro workflows such as onboarding and manager self-service
- Perform monthly access audits to maintain role-based security and ensure least privilege standards
- Lead small-scale HRIS projects and system enhancements from requirements gathering through deployment
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance to ensure system alignment with business needs and data accuracy
- Review monthly/quarterly UKG release notes and conduct UAT testing for system updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with UKG Pro (Core HCM required)
- Strong understanding of HR processes, U.S. employment practices, and payroll fundamentals
- Familiarity with HR compliance requirements including FLSA, FMLA, and ACA
- Experience with workflow configuration, system audits, and role-based security management
- Experience supporting integrations via API, SFTP, or vendor feeds
- Intermediate to advanced skills in UKG Pro Reporting/BI tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with UKG Pro Payroll, Benefits, Onboarding, or Talent modules
- UKG Pro certifications or completion of official UKG training modules
- Experience in HR systems architecture and understanding downstream system impacts
