HR Systems Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of the People tech stack including HRIS, talent, performance, and payroll systems
• Develop HR systems roadmaps in partnership with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders
• Lead HRIS/People Technology implementation projects, including planning, testing (SIT/UAT), and execution
• Manage system integrations, workflows, APIs, and security controls
• Drive ongoing system configuration to meet organizational needs and compliance requirements
• Create system documentation, user guides, and conduct training sessions
• Serve as the primary liaison for HR systems support and third-party vendors
• Support People Operations and audit reporting needs

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience across the HR tech stack
• Experience with selection, configuration, and implementation of HR and Payroll systems
• Strong understanding of Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence business processes
• Proficiency with databases and large datasets (Excel, SQL, Python)
• Experience with data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, or R)
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of HR and Payroll compliance and regulations
• Ability to pass health screening, TB test, and background fingerprint clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• BS Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or Business Administration
• Experience with Greenhouse, Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence), Google Apps, Slack, or Okta
• Experience in a non-profit or early education environment
