HR Specialist

Responsibilities

• Respond professionally to employee and manager inquiries via phone, chat, email, and in-person interactions
• Manage employee changes, special payroll tasks, employee updates, and tuition reimbursement requests
• Plan and facilitate new employee orientation sessions both in-person and remotely
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence to support the administration of employee issues and concerns
• Resolve cases accurately and with a customer-centric approach in accordance with company policies
• Escalate complex cases to ensure timely and appropriate resolution
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding all employee information

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
• Strong knowledge of HR domains including benefits, employment, and compensation practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced shared services environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently or as part of a diverse team

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Experience working with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems)
