HR Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve HR systems to ensure compliance, efficiency, and audit readiness
• Draft, manage, and store employment contracts, agreements, and official documents
• Organize the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding checklists, welcome kits, and offboarding processes
• Act as the primary point of contact for daily employee inquiries regarding policies, time off, and legal regulations
• Provide data-driven insights by tracking headcount, absences, and people trends
• Take ownership of key HR projects such as yearly feedback cycles, employee benefits, and engagement initiatives

Requirements

• University degree in Business, HR, Psychology, or a similar field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a People Operations role within Germany
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with German labor law
• Proficiency with digital HR tools such as Personio, LinkedIn, or Greenhouse
• Business-fluent communication skills in both German and English
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion
