About the Company
8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA-based technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both autonomous and non-autonomous rideshare fleets.
Responsibilities
- Oversee weekly payroll for high-volume non-exempt employees in California, including overtime and PTO validation
- Reconcile semi-monthly payroll for exempt employees in partnership with PEO
- Serve as a subject matter expert on California state wage and hour laws
- Manage employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and FSA/HSA
- Lead annual open enrollment processes and system configuration
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, HR orientations, and offboarding procedures
- Maintain data integrity across HRIS, timekeeping, and PEO systems
- Assist with employee relations and performance documentation
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of HR or People Operations experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience handling sensitive employee data
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
Benefits
- Base salary range of $65,000 to $75,000
