HR & Recruitment Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, and interview coordination
• Coordinate and conduct comprehensive new employee onboarding and orientation programs
• Maintain accurate and confidential Human Resources records in accordance with federal, state, and agency requirements
• Ensure compliance with employment requirements such as background checks and fingerprinting
• Provide administrative support to the HR Director and the Human Resources department
• Maintain professional boundaries and strict confidentiality regarding clients and staff

Requirements

• 1-2 years of professional experience in Human Resources and/or Recruitment
• Strong computer skills with the ability to prepare reports and documentation
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive matters with discretion
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel statewide as required

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree
• Experience working in a nonprofit environment
• Professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws affecting Human Resources
