HR & Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end payroll transactions and lifecycle activities to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Independently process payroll according to defined standards and client requirements.
• Monitor and manage ticket queues using BI tools to ensure timely resolution within defined thresholds.
• Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness, initiating corrections as needed.
• Produce and interpret standard and client-specific payroll reports, including statutory year-end reporting.
• Answer payroll-related questions and requests from stakeholders.
• Support SOC1 controls, system maintenance testing, and technical issue coordination.
• Maintain current knowledge of legislation requirements, system updates, and payroll procedures.

Requirements

• BA/BS in a business-related field such as Accounting, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR consulting, outsourcing, or corporate environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with HR and payroll data.
• Knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft.
