HR Payroll Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and manage special payroll runs as needed
• Review international and EOR payrolls for accuracy
• Track payroll-related changes including compensation, benefits, deductions, bonuses, and commissions
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues
• Maintain physical and digital employee files, including benefits and documentation
• Support state and tax-related activities and ensure proper documentation storage
• Manage new hire, status change, and termination checklists
• Assist with recruiting efforts by posting jobs in the ATS, conducting phone screens, and running background checks
• Generate internal documents such as job transition, salary change, and termination letters
• Create specialized reports using ADP Workforce Now
• Suggest process improvements and opportunities for automation

Requirements

• 3+ years of payroll experience
• 2+ years of Human Resources experience
• 2+ years of HRIS/HCM experience (ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus)
• 2+ years of Multi-State HR experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Global HR experience
• SHRM or PHR Certification
• CPP or similar payroll certification
