HR Operations Sr. Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Human Resource function at the production facility, providing guidance to plant leadership, supervisors, and employees.
• Interpret labor agreements and company policies to support performance management and discipline for both hourly and salaried staff.
• Support Employment Value Proposition initiatives, including succession planning, onboarding, career path development, and compensation structures.
• Plan and execute employee engagement events, recognition programs, and workplace culture initiatives.
• Develop university recruiting strategies and build strong talent pipelines through academic partnerships.
• Partner with Operations Managers to improve employee relations, training, recruitment, and safety processes.
• Ensure all employment-related decisions comply with company policies as well as State and Federal laws.
• Provide training to employees and supervisors regarding new policies and organizational initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 4-7 years of Human Resources generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Proven experience working within a manufacturing or hourly workforce setting.
• Experience in organizational development, including performance management, compensation, and succession planning.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

• PHR Certification.
