HR Operations Generalist

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line customer service to employees, managers, and vendors regarding HR inquiries via phone and online channels
• Perform administrative and transactional tasks, including data entry, filing, and processing HR documentation
• Resolve HR questions by accessing information across multiple computer systems
• Escalate complex inquiries to HR Operations Specialists and provide necessary supporting documentation
• Assist users in navigating internal self-service resources and HR technology tools
• Manage workload efficiently to meet established service level agreements (SLAs)
• Liaise between HR Operations, external vendors, and other Centers of Expertise

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Experience working in Human Resources or a service center environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Oracle Service Cloud, and Peoplesoft
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE-L security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)
• Ability to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of directly related experience in HR or a service center
• Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
