HR Officer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for the Islamabad office, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
• Ensure full compliance with Pakistani labor law, including the Industrial Relations Act, provincial legislation, EOBI, and PESSI.
• Draft and maintain employment contracts, HR policies, and offer letters.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
• Process payroll inputs and coordinate with the finance team for timely salary payments.
• Provide HR and administrative support to international offices in Ireland and the UK.
• Assist with international travel logistics, visa applications, and global HR reporting.
• Coordinate office administration and facilities for the Islamabad location.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role in Pakistan, ideally within a tech startup or SaaS environment.
• Solid understanding of Pakistani federal and provincial labor laws and statutory obligations.
• Fluency in both English and Urdu (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with total confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a SaaS, fintech, or fast-paced tech startup.
• Exposure to HR administration across multiple countries or time zones.
• Professional HR certification such as CHRP, SHRM, or CIPD.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms like BambooHR, HiBob, or Workday.
• Understanding of employment frameworks in Ireland or the UK.
