HR Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the People Operations function across all properties and head office
• Manage and develop three direct reports: Workforce Operations Manager, HR Administrator, and Training Administrator
• Oversee statutory compliance including EEA, Skills Development Act, BCEA, and POPIA
• Manage the relationship and accountability of outsourced payroll and HR/IR providers
• Oversee disciplinary and grievance matters to ensure procedural fairness
• Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
• Oversee payroll inputs and accuracy in partnership with Finance
• Lead the Training & Development function and CATHSSETA WSP/ATR submissions
• Produce monthly and quarterly HR reports on headcount, turnover, and compliance

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management
• 5–7 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR management role
• Strong working knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EEA, Skills Development Act, and POPIA
• Experience managing outsourced HR or payroll providers
• Proficiency in PaySpace, Roubler, or comparable HRIS and Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) registration
• Multi-property or multi-site operational HR experience
• CATHSSETA or SETA engagement experience
• Experience in hospitality or property management
• EE committee management experience
