About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead daily HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and staff support
- Manage staff records, internal human resource documentation, and personnel processes
- Support hiring and recruitment logistics, including job postings and candidate communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits
- Maintain and communicate internal policies, procedures, and staff expectations
- Support compliance with campaign employment practices and reporting requirements
- Build and maintain systems to improve HR organization and communication across the campaign
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in human resources, political campaigns, government offices, or operations
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment with sensitive and confidential information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work nontraditional hours to meet the demands of a statewide campaign
- Deep commitment to the mission and values of the Talarico for Texas campaign
