About the role
Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational management of the HR department (approx. 150 employees)
- Development and implementation of modern HR strategies to support corporate goals
- Close cooperation with the works council on all matters requiring co-determination
- Responsibility for labor law issues, negotiations, and implementation of works agreements
- Further development of personnel development and talent management programs
- Recruitment, personnel planning, and retention management
- Optimization and digitalization of HR processes
- Advising management and leaders on all personnel-related topics
- Leading organizational changes and development measures
- Leading the HR team and participating in national/group projects
Requirements
- Degree in HR, Business Law, Labor Law, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in HR management
- Deep knowledge of HR processes, labor law, and collective bargaining law
- Experience in the chemical industry is ideal
- Proficiency in HR-IT systems such as SAP HR or SuccessFactors
- Very good German and English skills
- Strong social competence, strategic thinking, and a hands-on mentality
