HR Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational HR leadership across multiple sites in Port Coquitlam and Abbotsford
• Partner with business leaders to align HR priorities with operational goals and workforce needs
• Act as the primary liaison for union and employee relations, managing three collective agreements
• Oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and claims administration
• Provide guidance to leaders on investigations, discipline, and grievance processes
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, collective agreements, and internal policies
• Leverage HR metrics and data insights to inform decisions and improve people processes
• Support performance management, coaching, and leadership development initiatives
• Drive communication, change management, and employee engagement activities

Requirements

• Diploma in Human Resource Management
• 5 to 8 years of Human Resources generalist experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to travel between Port Coquitlam and Abbotsford 1–2 times per week

Preferred Qualifications

• CHRP designation
• 3 to 5 years of Human Resources leadership experience
• Experience in Labour Relations
