HR Manager Retail

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic Business Partner to the Retail Europe Commercial Director and operational teams
• Lead and develop a team of 5 HR Business Partners based in Paris and across Europe
• Define and supervise the retail recruitment strategy and onboarding processes across 14 European countries
• Drive talent management initiatives, including career pathing, internal mobility, and succession planning
• Oversee performance evaluation campaigns and collaborate on training and skill development plans
• Ensure compliance with local HR policies and regulations in collaboration with legal support
• Monitor and analyze key HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, and absenteeism to support business performance
• Manage personnel budgets, staff costs, and FTE optimization across the European retail network
• Lead cross-functional HR transformation projects to improve employee experience and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Significant HR experience, ideally within an international and multi-site retail environment
• Proven experience managing and developing HR teams in a dynamic context
• Strong business orientation with the ability to work closely with commercial and operational teams
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple strategic topics simultaneously
• Fluency in both French and English; proficiency in another European language is a plus
• Ability to travel regularly across European markets to support local teams and field operations
• Agile and pragmatic approach to change management in a fast-paced environment
