About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify staffing needs and manage recruitment, onboarding, and separation processes
- Oversee all payroll responsibilities using Paylocity, including headcount and PTO tracking
- Manage annual benefits renewal and 401K administration
- Develop and maintain policies compliant with Federal and State laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.)
- Lead onsite HR training programs and coach managers on communication and feedback
- Implement employee retention and engagement programs
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and resolve issues
- Support site compliance with Health and Safety practices, including OSHA
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Knowledge of payroll, employment law, compensation, and recruitment
- Strong HR data analytics and computer skills, including Excel and HRIS
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills
- 5+ years of human resources experience
- SHRM certification
- Experience in food manufacturing
- Experience with facility start-ups
- Proficiency with Paylocity
