About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the local HR leader and trusted advisor for the Manila office, supporting business objectives and leadership effectiveness.
  • Implement and localize global HR programs and people strategies to ensure alignment with the Philippines context.
  • Manage local HR operations, including payroll preparation, onboarding/offboarding, and pay change requests.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, conducting workplace investigations and resolving grievances.
  • Ensure full compliance with Philippines labor laws, DOLE regulations, and statutory requirements (e.g., 13th month pay, separation pay).
  • Partner with global HR Centers of Excellence (Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition) to execute inclusive programs locally.
  • Provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience working in the Philippines.
  • Proven experience working within global or US-headquartered organizations.
  • Extensive knowledge of Philippines labor law and DOLE compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong English communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a hybrid environment.
