About the role

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of HR and local leadership to support business strategy and HR initiatives across Egypt.
  • Develop HR policies and procedures in alignment with head office and compliance with Egyptian labor laws.
  • Act as the primary HR contact for both office and site employees, providing hands-on support across multiple project locations.
  • Visit project sites to support site management, address employee relations, and ensure consistent policy implementation.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and hiring activities for corporate and site positions.
  • Support managers and employees with performance management, disciplinary matters, grievance handling, and leave management.
  • Liaise with external authorities including the labor office, social security, and immigration.
  • Manage payroll and employee benefits administration for all Egypt-based employees.
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and the maintenance of accurate HR records and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and welfare standards for site employees.
  • Provide HR analytics and reporting on headcount, attrition, and recruitment to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Manager or senior role.
  • Proven experience supporting site-based workforces in construction, energy, engineering, or industrial environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
  • Strong, comprehensive knowledge of Egyptian labor law and employment regulations.
  • Fluency in both written and oral English and Arabic.
  • Strong skills in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
