HR Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing to hiring for various positions within the facility
• Act as a liaison between management and employees to resolve conflicts and grievances
• Develop and implement training programs including orientation and safety protocols
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws and food manufacturing regulations
• Oversee employee compensation and benefits administration
• Implement and manage performance appraisal systems and provide coaching to managers
• Collaborate with the safety team to ensure workplace compliance and investigate accidents
• Align HR practices with business goals and manage HR metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in human resources
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Knowledge of labor laws and health and safety regulations
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry or similar regulated industries
