HR Management Trainee

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment tasks including screening applications, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate conversations
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
• Support HR administration, payroll, and personnel file maintenance
• Act as a first point of contact for HR-related employee inquiries
• Assist with employee engagement activities, training, and internal communications
• Work independently on HR projects and process improvements

Requirements

• Enrolled in a higher education (HBO) program in HR, Hospitality Management, or a similar field
• Minimum availability of 6 months
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English
• Proactive, organized, and eager to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid right to work in the Netherlands and local housing in Amsterdam

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry
