ScrapUncle is a Delhi-based cleantech startup that provides doorstep scrap and e-waste collection services for households and businesses. The company focuses on making recycling transparent, convenient, and environmentally responsible.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to forecast and fulfill hiring needs across tech, operations, and blue-collar teams
- Lead full-cycle recruitment including JD creation, sourcing, screening, and onboarding
- Design and implement OKR-driven performance review systems and career development plans
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure compliance with ESI, PF, and labor laws
- Handle blue-collar workforce compliance and maintain accurate HRMS records
- Drive employee engagement, wellness programs, and conflict resolution
- Support office operations and vendor management
Requirements
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in HR Generalist or Business Partner roles
- Strong experience in Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, and Payroll
- Experience managing Blue-Collar HR Operations
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-scaling environment
- Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws and wage regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- A builder mindset comfortable with ambiguity and wearing multiple hats
