About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate new hire orientation and manage the onboarding process
- Conduct regular check-ins with new hires to identify and address challenges
- Provide guidance on HR topics including policies, benefits, and leave administration
- Orchestrate offboarding processes and conduct confidential exit interviews
- Support performance management and goal-setting processes
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws
- Coordinate employee immigration cases
- Partner with HRBPs to resolve complex employee relations issues
- Maintain and audit employee data within the HRIS
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience
- Solid knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in a fast-paced professional services environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
