HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Coach and support managers through employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, and grievances
• Provide practical guidance on routine ER matters and partner with senior HR stakeholders on complex cases
• Guide employees and managers in applying company policies and procedures
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, induction, and offboarding processes
• Lead coordination of key HR activities, such as performance review cycles
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR data, and documentation
• Support WHS activities, return-to-work coordination, and annual WGEA submissions
• Drive HR projects and continuous process improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR advisory role
• Proven experience managing employee relations matters, including performance and conduct
• Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009 and National Employment Standards
• Experience managing the full employee lifecycle
• Strong documentation, organizational, and professional communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Must have the right to work in Australia

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, technology, or another fast-paced corporate environment
• Exposure to HR activities across the APAC region
• A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
