About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in talent acquisition, recruitment processes, and employee onboarding
- Organize training and development initiatives to support staff growth
- Provide support to employees regarding leaves, compensation, and HR-related queries
- Support performance management, corrective action programs, and policy application
- Manage HR communications for the facility and support the annual open enrollment process
- Maintain accurate employee data and records within HRIS, ATS, and timekeeping systems
- Gather and analyze HR metrics and maintain Affirmative Action Plans
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
- At least one (1) year of work experience in Human Resources or completion of a Sherwin-Williams HR development program
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field
- Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
- Prior experience with HRIS, ATS, or timekeeping systems
- Experience maintaining Affirmative Action Plans and analyzing HR data
- Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
