About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the focal point for payroll processing, coordinating with external providers, internal finance teams, and employees
- Collect, validate, and submit payroll inputs including new hires, leavers, absences, overtime, and expenses
- Manage tax registrations, social security obligations, and onboarding documentation for local and posted workers
- Support the HR Manager in industrial relations by interfacing with trade unions and employers’ associations
- Ensure full compliance with Swedish labor law, including the Working Hours Act, holiday rules, and termination regulations
- Coordinate general services for staff, such as office facilities, IT equipment, and onboarding logistics
- Support mobilization and demobilization processes for locally hired employees
- Coordinate with Site Management on administrative and workforce support needs
Requirements
- 5 years of HR operations experience specifically within Sweden
- Demonstrated expertise in Swedish payroll coordination and liaising with external providers
- Strong familiarity with Swedish industrial relations and collective bargaining environments
- Solid knowledge of Swedish labor law and trade unions (e.g., IF Metall, Unionen)
- Proficiency in both Swedish and English
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing posted workers within construction, engineering, or industrial projects
- Experience working in a multinational setting
