HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Provide broad support to the Human Resources department across benefits administration, leave management, and compliance.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and assist with education and issue resolution.
• Administer employee leave programs including FMLA, WA PFML, and ADA accommodations.
• Support talent acquisition by managing pre-employment processes such as background checks, drug screens, and license verifications.
• Coordinate the onboarding experience for new hires to ensure Day 1 readiness.
• Maintain accurate employee records and data integrity within HRIS systems.
• Assist with HR audits, data reporting, and the performance management process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with 2 years of relevant HR experience (or equivalent combination of experience and certification).
• Experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Jobvite, or other ATS solutions).
• Experience working with Third Party Administrators for background checks and benefits administration.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in leave coordination, absence management, or recruiting.
• Exposure to various HR lifecycle processes and HRIS platforms.
