HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Assist the HR team to develop and execute new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
• Manage administrative processes for onboarding, orientation, and exit interviews
• Deliver HR advisory services concerning health insurance, absences, conduct, and employee relations
• Serve as primary backup for payroll processing and time off tracking
• Aid in the communication and maintenance of the employee handbook and organizational charts
• Evaluate and document compliance with mandatory training and certifications
• Address employment-related inquiries and escalate complex issues
• Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
• Support direct-hire recruiting efforts and on-site interview logistics

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is a must
• 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS platforms
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
• Exceptional organizational and conflict resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• SHRM-CP certification
