About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR point of contact for employees and leaders, providing guidance on policies, benefits, payroll, and employee relations.
- Support full-cycle HR activities, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, offer letters, and orientation.
- Manage timekeeping, payroll administration, benefits inquiries, and wage verifications.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, including personnel files, training evidence, and organizational charts.
- Partner with regional HR teams to collect and validate data for KPIs, headcount, and compliance tracking.
- Support employee transfers, immigration coordination, and internship administration.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience.
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
- Strong understanding of U.S. HR, payroll, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including a monthly rotation to support Monday morning start-ups.
- High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive employee situations with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Previous experience within the automotive industry.
