About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the local HR point of contact for employees and leaders
- Support employee relations matters including intake, documentation, and coaching
- Assist with time and attendance, PTO inquiries, and basic payroll coordination
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, background checks, and orientation support
- Support disciplinary and corrective action processes and documentation
- Assist with offboarding processes and exit logistics
- Administer employee benefits and leave programs
- Serve as a culture and engagement liaison for local events
- Maintain accurate records in HRIS platforms
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Requirements
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Ability to work in-office as a visible HR presence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a multi-location or high-volume environment
