About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the local HR point of contact for employees and leaders
  • Support employee relations matters including intake, documentation, and coaching
  • Assist with time and attendance, PTO inquiries, and basic payroll coordination
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics, background checks, and orientation support
  • Support disciplinary and corrective action processes and documentation
  • Assist with offboarding processes and exit logistics
  • Administer employee benefits and leave programs
  • Serve as a culture and engagement liaison for local events
  • Maintain accurate records in HRIS platforms
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Ability to work in-office as a visible HR presence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a multi-location or high-volume environment
