HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily HR operations for the Western Hemisphere in compliance with local regulations and employment standards
• Manage the bi-weekly payroll function, ensuring timely production and accurate auditing of records
• Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, and retention strategies
• Develop and maintain effective regional policies, including handbooks, discipline, and grievance procedures
• Monitor and manage employee benefits and remuneration to ensure market competitiveness
• Partner with managers to provide coaching, training, and guidance on people-related matters
• Produce monthly HR KPIs and reports for local management meetings
• Promote a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement and well-being initiatives

Requirements

• Significant Human Resources experience, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• SHRM qualification or currently working towards certification
• Strong understanding of payroll functions, processes, and compliance
• Proven ability to multitask and manage a wide range of inquiries in an organized manner
• Strong change management, negotiation, and influencing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to travel to various Western Hemisphere sites as required
