About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily HR operations for the Western Hemisphere in compliance with local regulations and employment standards
- Manage the bi-weekly payroll function, ensuring timely production and accurate auditing of records
- Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, and retention strategies
- Develop and maintain effective regional policies, including handbooks, discipline, and grievance procedures
- Monitor and manage employee benefits and remuneration to ensure market competitiveness
- Partner with managers to provide coaching, training, and guidance on people-related matters
- Produce monthly HR KPIs and reports for local management meetings
- Promote a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement and well-being initiatives
Requirements
- Significant Human Resources experience, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- SHRM qualification or currently working towards certification
- Strong understanding of payroll functions, processes, and compliance
- Proven ability to multitask and manage a wide range of inquiries in an organized manner
- Strong change management, negotiation, and influencing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel to various Western Hemisphere sites as required
