Responsibilities

  • Manage labor relations, which constitutes approximately 80% of the role
  • Handle and follow up on employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Apply disciplinary actions and manage employee incidents
  • Interact with union representatives and employees
  • Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor to stay close to operations
  • Ensure a positive work environment and provide support to various departments

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Labor Relations
  • Proven experience working in manufacturing or plant environments
  • Strong people-oriented approach and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with regulations or certifications such as ISO
  • Intermediate to advanced English language proficiency
