About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage labor relations, which constitutes approximately 80% of the role
- Handle and follow up on employee relations and conflict resolution
- Apply disciplinary actions and manage employee incidents
- Interact with union representatives and employees
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor to stay close to operations
- Ensure a positive work environment and provide support to various departments
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Labor Relations
- Proven experience working in manufacturing or plant environments
- Strong people-oriented approach and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with regulations or certifications such as ISO
- Intermediate to advanced English language proficiency
