HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to all salaried and hourly employees and management through effective communication and administration.
• Oversee recruitment, talent development, succession planning, and workforce realignment.
• Execute HR service delivery including training programs, candidate profiling, and compensation administration.
• Manage performance and talent management systems to drive company goals and provide guidance to leadership.
• Maintain effective working relationships with managers, employees, and unions where applicable.
• Handle employee investigations and promote an environment of open communication and candid feedback.
• Support factory initiatives related to employee engagement and safety goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field (e.g., Business, Organizational Communication, Industrial Psychology).
• 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing plant, distribution center, sales, or DSD environment.
• Proven experience in change management, specifically implementing projects within a non-corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of basic HR laws, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access).
• Experience working with HRIS systems such as UKG.
• Ability to work flexible hours (shifts may include 5 AM - 2 PM or 10 AM - 7 PM) and provide off-shift coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting mediation, arbitration, or grievance processes.
