Responsibilities
- Support daily HR operations and maintain accurate employee records and documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable California labor laws
- Maintain and track required certifications, background checks, and employee credentials
- Support payroll processes by reviewing timekeeping and ensuring data accuracy
- Coordinate offboarding processes and assist with employee status changes
- Support initiatives that promote employee engagement and a positive work environment
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative support
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Basic knowledge of HR practices and California employment laws
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Experience with HRIS systems
