HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle for a global team, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Own the Deel portal for UAE employees, managing profiles, contract issuance, and document uploads.
• Support monthly payroll processing in Deel, ensuring data accuracy and meeting cut-off deadlines.
• Oversee UAE employment compliance, including MOHRE registration, WPS payroll, and labour card renewals.
• Manage visa sponsorship processes and track Emirates ID expiry dates for employees and dependents.
• Act as the primary HR point of contact for non-US employees regarding payroll, leave, benefits, and policies.
• Support the Global Head of HR with reporting, audit preparation, and ad hoc people operations tasks.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Operations, or People Operations role.
• Hands-on experience working within the UAE market.
• Proficiency with the Deel platform for payroll, contracts, and immigration support.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law (MOHRE, WPS, DHA health insurance, and visa processes).
• Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment and onboarding coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with US HR practices, including FLSA, benefits, and Rippling.
• Exposure to managing HR operations within a global, distributed team.
• HR certification.
