HR Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operational functions including HR systems management, employee lifecycle administration, and payroll coordination
• Manage and implement HR processes and policies to ensure efficiency, compliance, and scalability
• Implement and manage HR systems such as onboarding platforms, performance reviews, and attendance systems
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across Middle East jurisdictions
• Partner with department heads to support workforce planning, staffing metrics, and headcount tracking
• Deliver data-driven HR insights to guide leadership decision-making
• Manage compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration
• Coordinate performance cycle administration and process improvement initiatives
• Manage relationships with third-party HR vendors including payroll and insurance providers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 4 years in a senior HR operations role
• Experience in tech-driven, multi-departmental organizations
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations in the Middle East
• Proven experience managing HR systems
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM)
• Experience in the marketplace or e-commerce sector
• Experience working in a scaling startup or high-growth environment
• Ability to manage both strategic projects and operational details
