About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the digitization of employee records
  • Facilitate hiring paperwork and maintain the University I-9 process
  • Enter corrected or updated data into the University’s HRIS system and other databases
  • Complete audits of personnel records as requested
  • Support the Human Resources Department with onboarding, offboarding, and general administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • High level of accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • College degree or equivalent work experience (e.g., Associate’s degree plus two years of relevant experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in higher education or a confidential environment
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), specifically Colleague
  • Experience with payroll or HR management systems
  • Experience with filing, sorting, shredding, and scanning
