About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine administrative support for the Human Resources Department, including greeting visitors and managing the reception desk.
  • Respond to internal and external phone and email inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new temporary and non-benefited hires, including sending welcome packages and scheduling I-9 appointments.
  • Execute I-9 verifications and facilitate background checks.
  • Maintain and update departmental databases, personnel files, and tracking lists for training and evaluations.
  • Manage office operations by monitoring supply inventory, ordering materials, and scheduling meetings for departmental managers.
  • Assist with employment verifications and process information for current and former employees.

Requirements

  • At least three years of full-time office experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong knowledge of standard office procedures, including record keeping and correspondence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • High level of organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and tact.
