About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide routine administrative support for the Human Resources Department, including greeting visitors and managing the reception desk.
- Respond to internal and external phone and email inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new temporary and non-benefited hires, including sending welcome packages and scheduling I-9 appointments.
- Execute I-9 verifications and facilitate background checks.
- Maintain and update departmental databases, personnel files, and tracking lists for training and evaluations.
- Manage office operations by monitoring supply inventory, ordering materials, and scheduling meetings for departmental managers.
- Assist with employment verifications and process information for current and former employees.
Requirements
- At least three years of full-time office experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Strong knowledge of standard office procedures, including record keeping and correspondence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- High level of organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and tact.
